Webinar Replay: Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace

Besides cognitive and somatic intelligence, all of us human beings have emotional intelligence. We all have access to it, and we can train it to its full potential.

And why should we want to do that? “Emotions are always present, consciously or unconsciously. Emotions are pointing to our needs and values, and they are an essential part of our communication and authenticity”, shares Leadership Coach Fabienne Cuisinier.

And this not only holds true in relationships with your partner and friends – especially at work, emotions and mood have an overwhelming impact on bottom-line performance, as researchers Goleman, Boyatzis, and McKee reveal in their study and book “Primal Leadership”. And so they conclude: “A leader’s premier task—we would even say his primal task—is emotional leadership.”

In this webinar, Fabienne talked with moderator Lisa and shared her story of developing her own emotional intelligence as well as her expertise on

  • emotional, cognitive, and somatic intelligence
  • how to get in contact with your emotions
  • how to communicate your emotions authentically and effectively
  • which difference emotional intelligence makes in leadership
  • examples and exercises for emotional intelligence in the workplace
